Ingredients

  • 1 cup Wild Rice
  • 2 cups Vegetable Broth
  • 1 cup Chopped Vegetables (carrots, celery, onions)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the wild rice under cold water.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped vegetables and sauté until softened.
  3. 3. Add the wild rice, vegetable broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
  4. 4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  5. 5. Fluff with a fork and serve warm.
