Main Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups water or plant-based milk
- 1 apple, diced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
- 1 pinch salt
In a pot, bring water or plant-based milk to a boil.
Add oats, diced apple, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Once the oats are cooked and the mixture is creamy, remove from heat.
Stir in maple syrup if using.
Serve warm.
