Ingredients 

Patties

  • 1 cup Chickpeas cooked and mashed
  • ½ cup Breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup Onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper

Herb Sauce

  • ½ cup Vegan Yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed chickpeas, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a bit of olive oil. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together vegan yogurt, fresh dill, lemon juice, garlic powder, and salt to make the herb sauce.
  5. Serve the patties hot with the herb sauce on the side.
