Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dried chickpeas soaked overnight
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • 4 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Water
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, and baking powder. Pulse until mixture is coarse and grainy.
  2. 2. Add flour and water to the mixture. Pulse until well combined. The mixture should hold together when pressed.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into small patties.
  4. 4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the patties until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. 5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
