Ingredients

  • 1 cup Raw cashews soaked in water for 2 hours
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Tapioca starch
  • 1 tablespoon Nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
  2. In a blender, combine cashews, water, tapioca starch, nutritional yeast, apple cider vinegar, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, whisking constantly until it thickens and becomes stretchy, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly before using.
