Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked chickpeas
  • 0.5 cup walnuts
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 1 small carrot, grated
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 0.5 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, walnuts, and oats. Pulse until coarsely ground.
  2. Add grated carrot, chopped onion, minced garlic, soy sauce, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Pulse until well combined.
  3. Form mixture into patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
